Charity of the Year - 2013

Every year we have a charity of the year, using funds from the Walker Family Charitable Trust and by holding events.  We are proud to be sponsoring the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre.

The Berkshire MS Therapy Centre provide a centre of excellence for the provision of therapies, information and practical and emotional support for people with multiple sclerosis, their carers and families in Berkshire and surrounding area. They offer physical therapies in a comfortable and friendly environment to aid symptom management, promoting and enabling independence to improve well being and quality of life. They work closely with the NHS and other Healthcare Professionals to provide long-term, individual support.

Last year we sponsored local athlete Chris Mears as he trained for the chance of representing this country in Team GB diving at the 2012 London Olympic Games.  We continue to support his training and you can read more about Chris and his journey here.
