We aim to offer a fair and highly competitive funeral pricing structure.
Funeral costs consist of the Funeral Director Fees and those disbursement fees paid on your behalf such as church, cemetery or doctors fees. All of our funeral charges are drawn from a menu style price list with charges for each item or funeral service as requested. The disbursement fees are common to all funeral directors and it should be noted that some disbursement costs are increased by cemetery authorities, should the deceased have lived outside of their defined boundary.
Our cremation charges start from £1350 and for a burial from £1450. Our coffin prices are as shown in the relevant section and all charges are itemised on a written estimate during the process of making the funeral arrangements.
We require a deposit at the time of booking and the balance is invoiced the week after the funeral date. Payment can be by cheque or credit / debit card. There is no VAT on funeral costs.
Should you wish to make a claim for a contribution towards funeral costs through the DWP, we can offer advice and prepare a statement from us as required for the process of application. See the link below for information.
In adherence with the guidelines of the National Association of Funeral Directors, we offer a Simple Classic Cremation for £1100 excluding disbursements. This includes a simple coffin, no viewing or newspaper notices, with the hearse conveying the coffin direct to the crematorium at a time and date of our choosing.
