The renal unit looked after dad for 7 years. Never missing a dialysis session. He made some dear friends and he did have some favourite nurses. Loved their cups of tea. The last year has been tough for dad. Because of covid and the face masks that had to be warn by staff. Dad didn't have a chance of communicating . His skill of lip reading helped him. As his deafness was a problem. Even with a hearing aid. This made him so frustrated and anxious. Making his treatment days very distressing. All the staff work very hard and the equipment is marvellous.
