Chris was a very helpful and kind hearted person - he was very knowledgeable on every topic and had a key passion to share his learnings and help others in need. He never said no to any help that was asked by not just the team but anyone within Microsoft. He was truly an inspiration to many. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

Chris and I shared many happy memories at school and on big night outs, and in later years down the pub talking shop and talking about our loved ones. I will miss Chris' humour, passion and perseverance and will be greatly missed.

I shall always remember Chris as the most kind and helpful person, wanting to make sure that everyone around him felt happy and supported. He always looked to bring light to the darkest of places and I'm eternally grateful for the support he gave not only to myself; but also everyone else at Microsoft, everyday he was with us. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends and I hope they can take pride in the way Chris positively impacted everyone he met in his life.

Chris was a big part of the Security team here at Microsoft UK and we deeply grieve his passing. He was such a lovely man, with a huge technical brain and heart - always willing to help others. He will be sorely missed and our hearts go out to all his family, friends and colleagues who will forever miss him.

I knew Chris through our daughters' class. He was an amazing father, deeply involved and dedicated. His kindness and willingness to help were truly admirable. His sudden passing has deeply shaken us parents at school. My thoughts are with his family.

Chris was an absolutely fantastic guy. His exuded passion was his job and was probably the most knowledgeable person that I worked with at Microsoft. A fountain of knowledge on almost any technology area. I was speaking with Chris after our team meeting on 1st February and he was saying how lucky all of our early in career colleagues were, that he had worked tirelessly to get to Microsoft and that he was living his dream every day at work. I'll really miss Chris and this passion, he was an inspiration. My thoughts are with all of the family at such a challenging time.
