Passed away on 20 March 2019, aged 74 years.
Donations in Memory of Anne, gratefully received on behalf of CAFOD.CAFOD, a part of
Caritas International, is the official overseas aid and development agency of
the Catholic Church in England and Wales, reaching out to people living in
poverty or facing crisis or injustice, whatever their religion or culture. Helped
by local Church partners in the vast Caritas global network, CAFOD is currently
providing vital humanitarian aid to thousands of vulnerable people across
more than 40 countries affected by crisis. It is funding major projects to help
displaced refugees from Syria, and families facing severe famine in East Africa
affected by drought or suffering misery in
war stricken Yemen. CAFOD has recently joined forces with Disasters Emergency
Committee (DEC) to reach hundreds of thousands of people affected by Cyclone
Idai across Southern Africa.
