Thank you Brian. Little did we know that our lives would change after you moved in next door. We remember fondly many parties and fun at Silverthorne Drive. Not only were you, Dee, Jason and Craig such good neighbours, but when you introduced us to the UTMYC and Thames boating you steered us away from having a sailing boat on the coast, which would have been totally unsuitable with such young children and long working hours away from home. Wise advice from you! Your help and guidance in our early days of boating were invaluable and we will always value the friendship we had with you and the Lamden family since 1973.
