Grandad, you were always a special one. I remember Matthew, vikki and myself all joining you regularly on a Saturday morning up the club for a bottle of j20 and a kit kat or playing explorers in your back garden. These type of memories I will cherish, god bless you Grandad xxx

I always admired this man for his straightforward , no nonsense, well informed, brutally honest and often witty character. On many many occasions over several years, I had the pleasure of his company. I particularly remember one occasion while discussing his Parkinsons, how bad temper and depression were part of the symptoms. He emphasised very strongly to me how grateful he was to have Eve's understanding and strength to help him though. Our thoughts are now with Eve and his family for their very sad loss. It is a great pleasure to make this donation, in Michael's name, to Parkinsons UK. We have lost a terrific bloke!
