Ann-Marie Sheekey
Ann passed away surrounded by her family on 8th July 2025, aged 66. A beautiful soul taken too soon.
For those attending the funeral please feel free to wear colourful clothing/not black if you would prefer - our Ann was always dressed fabulously in all sorts of colours, shades and sparkles, and we’re sure she would've loved for everybody else to feel their best while celebrating her life together.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hereditary Brain Aneurysm Support charity or Breast Cancer Now in memory of Ann would be greatly appreciated.
Ann set up Magnolia Wig Studio in 2021 which gave her the opportunity to meet so many wonderful women suffering from hair loss due to alopecia and undergoing chemotherapy treatment. She was so proud to be able to help them feel beautiful
again by providing her fabulous wigs. From this, Ann recently worked alongside Pink Ribbon NZ to attend and speak at an event supporting the Breast Cancer Foundation. She had such a fantastic time that her love and passion for helping women living with cancer multiplied and following this, she held the charity
very close to her heart.
And as many will now know, Ann died of a sudden brain
aneurysm rupture which we believe was inherited as she very sadly lost her youngest sister Michelle and mother Marie the same way. The Hereditary Brain Aneurysm Support charity is the only of it’s kind dedicated to raising awareness and funding research into to this rare disease.

our families over the past few weeks.
