In loving memory and appreciation of gracious, special Heather, your compassionate, gentle but determined nature, your integrity, thought and kindness for people, your dedication to fairness and community, and willingness to dive in and try things, a real sport. Active, curious, always learning, doing, contributing, with talents you wore lightly, a ready, open smile, warm eyes, and the reticent sensitivity alongside that twinkly sense of fun and wonderful laugh. You deflected the spotlight but people saw your vibrant spirit and altruistic heart. Very sad you couldn't stay longer, but thank you for leaving your beautiful humane colours, sparkle and song in the world. We're so glad to have had the chance to know you and to share a part of your life, so happy you came into our family, and we'll always remember and celebrate you.
