The tranquil setting of The Caversham lends itself well to a bereavement reception. Located in the heart of leafy Berkshire and just a short drive away from Reading Crematorium and Henley-on-Thames Woodland Burial Ground.
The View Bar and Restaurant is a beautiful and peaceful location for funeral receptions. The elegant clubhouse offers a welcoming atmosphere and stunning panoramic views of the golf course and countryside. Their experienced and attentive staff will also be on hand to make a difficult time simple and comfortable for you and your guests. The Caversham has plenty of free parking & accessible facilities.
Please note that there will be a room hire charge: “The View” has a capacity of 80 guests for £200 & “The Full View” has a capacity of 80-150 guests for £300.

- Selection of sandwiches, ciabatta and wraps – honey roasted gammon, chicken, beef, tuna, egg mayonnaise, cheese and chutney. Crisps included.
- Homemade super seeded and award-winning sausage meat sausage roll.
- Chicken satay with satay sauce, sesame seeds and crispy onions.
- Individual quiches – Tomato, pesto and basil or goat’s cheese and caramelised red onion.
- Brownie, flapjacks and mini muffins.
