Jeanne was a colleague with whom.i worked for many years in her pastoral role. She always saw that of good in all pupils who needed her support and did her utmost to enable them to cope with the difficulties they encountered. Her skills as a teacher of English were much respected by her pupils including my daughter. Her legacy will remain with many whose lives she touched.

Jeanne was my colleague and great friend at Windsor Girls' School, for so many years. She was Inspiring, a gifted teacher, and much loved by her students for her care and interest in each one of them inside the classroom and beyond. Over the years she spent hours helping individuals, listening sensitively and wisely when they needed attention or guidance. She did so much for so many people. My first memory of her was of her sitting cross-legged on a classroom desk surrounded by rapt pupils as she talked, all totally absorbed in what she had to say. She will be remembered fondly by many generations of students and staff at WGS for her contribution to their lives.

Thank you, Jeanne, for your love, kindness and generosity over so many years. You cared, not just for me and for Liv, but also for so many other people who needed your help. We met over 40 years ago in 1982 at an Executive Committee meeting for Number 22 and was so very close to our hearts. It was desperately sad to see you slip away from us and I hope you have now found the peace you so deserve.
