Our wonderful Dad, Raymond, was a kind, generous and deeply faithful man who spent his life looking after others. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family, always putting the people he loved before himself. He had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel welcome, and although he and Mum never seemed to have much, there was always enough to share. Their home was a place of laughter, friendship and love. Dad devoted himself to caring for Mum throughout her journey with Alzheimer's disease, doing everything he could. Losing her was the hardest thing he ever had to face, but he carried on with the courage, humour and optimism that defined his life. He often said that every day was a party, and he truly lived with gratitude and joy. If you would like to remember Dad, we know he would be honoured to support the Alzheimer's Society in loving memory of Mum, and in the hope that one day other families may be spared the heartbreak this illness brings. Forever in our hearts. ❤️
