Very sad news. I have great memories of a gentle and understanding colleague. I remember pitching in with him on a team social weekend away somewhere out west when our hired minibus broke down on the way back and we all somehow managed to push it up a hill to restart it. We all arrived back in London too late for work on Monday and Bob took the rap for our unauthorised day off!
